As students are exposed to the
increasing amounts of information that is available in the world around them,
it is increasingly important that they receive instruction in how to locate and
evaluate information. In Library students learn a variety of skills necessary
to locate, evaluate, utilize and increase their knowledge.
The school library is open for all
students on all working days. It consists of more than 4000 books which include
various magazines and books on general awareness, philosophy, ethics, language
learning, religion, history, art and craft, Stories, Poems, computers, science
and other reference books on academic topics. Each student is issued a Library
card on which they can avail Books for their home. All the books are classified
according to DDC coding.
Ours is a well furnished and
equipped library with adequate number of almirahs and notice boards. Each and
every student has been allotted a membership in the library.
Periodic magazines provide
latest updations in all aspects. In future we are planning to fully
computerize it and make it a center of information and recreation.
